September Gratitude

It's hard to believe September is over. Time is flying by quicker than I can comprehend. Before I know it, it will be 2026 and I'll be sending my kids to school, haha!

September was a good month, but I feel like it went by in such a blur, I have a hard time actually remembering what happened! I think it was just full of figuring out how to teach Kindergarten online, and naps. When my husband and I got into the full swing of working again (after 6 months off, thanks to COVID) it made time go by so quickly. I honestly forgot how busy we are when we are working.

Even though the month went by so fast, there is always time to reflect and be grateful for what has happened!

Here's what I'm grateful for in September...

fall decorations

I talked about this in my last post, but I decorate for Fall extra early this year. The way it made our new home feel instantly cozy and like home was wonderful! I'm so grateful for pretty things in the fall.

my husband

I mentioned this in my last gratitude post, but I am always grateful for him. It also was his birthday in September! We had celebrated in true Joshua fashion: donuts for breakfast, games all day, and Italian for dinner.

flannel shirts

I pulled out all of my fall/winter clothes (don't ask me how sad it was trying things on that no longer fit of this bump...there's always next fall). I love flannel shirts, AND I can wear all of them with a giant belly too! It's still slightly too warm to wear them all day, but I wear them when I can!

scriptures

I would be lying if I said I wasn't struggling. I would be lying if I said I read my Bible EVERYDAY. But I'm so thankful that no matter my mistakes and failures, there are the scriptures waiting to encourage me and remind me of the true, faithful promises of God.

inspiration

The past year+ has been greatly lacking in inspiration in this space. I'm thankful that I have recently felt more inspired to write here, even if my posts are always late and I don't always have the energy to write, I'm thankful when I do!

What are you grateful for?
