Diary No. 13
Hey there hi there ho there!
Happy *almost* May! I'm excited for another month and the fact that it's almost summer! Josh has four more weeks of teaching 3rd grade and then He had all of June and half of July off, and we can't wait to do fun summer things! I remember being so tired last year because we were still deep in the "babies who don't sleep phase." We're pumped to hit the zoo, aquarium, taking the boys' swimming, and CAMPING! This week was kind of emotional and I felt SO DRAINED all week. I even took a nap on Friday, WHAT?! I never take a nap. On Saturday my mom and I went thrift shopping and I found so many good things. It was the first time I had been shopping in two years where I didn't have to think about my clothes growing with a bump or being breastfeeding accessible. I love thrifting and I also found so many good books for the boys too. I didn't find a ton of clothes for them unfortunately, but we're planning on going again.
Here's a recap of our week!
This transformation! Oliver was so unbelievably tiny when he was born (a straight miracle he avoided the NICU!) We like to take update pictures from his birth photo!
Just some pretty strawberries!
I was sitting in the living room drinking my coffee one morning when the boys got suddenly quiet. I checked on them on the baby cam and they were sitting reading together and I caught this sweet moment!
Me and my sweet boy! (with his hand always down my shirt, haha! it's his comfort thing).
I got the boys wooden knives for Easter and they loved cutting and eating their own fruit! So fun to give them some independence.
When I got back from thrift shopping with my mom, I gave the boys their books. They immediately sat and read them! These kids love books.
I'm going to get these printed on a canvas because they melt my heart. I love how they love each other.
Completed my bridesmaid outfit this weekend!
I hope you guys had a fantastic week!
