No. 4 Hi, How are You?

Hi friends!

At the beginning of January I made a commitment to myself to post a blog post every week this year, and here I am without anything to say! I had a post in mind and as I started writing I did not like it anymore, haha.

So here I am with a random post! Which is okay, because I knew that I wouldn't have something to write about every single week. The point is to write and publish, and as long as I do that I am meeting my goal.

How are you doing today? How are you doing this week? How are you doing this year?

I'm doing well despite my year starting off rough health wise. I had set the goal of working out sixteen times this month and that was quickly a no go as I took two weeks to recover from strep throat. I have only worked out three times this month (yikes) and I'm trying to give myself grace rather than be hard on myself. I did have two great workouts this week and will have more this year!

Other than that, I started back to school finally! Another area of giving grace to myself. I took the last two years off of school and I struggle because my friends are graduating from college this May. If I hadn't taken any time off, I would be graduating too. It was definitely good, and right for me to take time off. I just have to remember that life is not a race! Classes are off to a good start though, and I am so happy to be back in school and pursuing my education.

I also cooked a yummy meal last night. It was a Chicken Ranch Pasta Bake. It was delicious and easy! The only thing I would say about this recipe is that the total time to make it is inaccurate. It says it takes 35 minutes, but it takes about an hour. You can find it here. I served it with edamame (one of our favorite veggies) but it would go great with a salad and bread sticks too! We've slowly been building up our staple recipes, maybe someday I will share those with you!

I think that is all. I hope that you have a great week! Please let me know how you are doing below in the comments, I'd love to hear!
