Happy Autumn!

It's the best season of the year: Autumn.

Crisp air, crunchy leaves, pumpkins, and sweaters. Is there anything better? Only Christmas, honestly.

I've been waiting for fall all summer, and I'm so thankful it is here! Perhaps it is hormones (but let's be real, it's also just me), but looking at fall things, experiencing fall, is making my very emotional. I want to make the experience as special as possible. I want to every year, but this year I feel like we need a spectacular fall season more than ever! I long to bake, crunch leaves, and enjoy the cool air. Here are a few things I'm looking forward to this season.

Pumpkin Flavors

I'm basic, but I'm not ashamed. I truly enjoy the pumpkin flavored things! Some of my favorites are chocolate chip pumpkin bread, chocolate chip pumpkin cookies, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cheesecake, and obviously, the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks! I wish I had more energy to bake this season, but I am going to make a pumpkin roll this weekend, and I'm going to be in heaven.

Sweater Weather!

I love my fall/winter wardrobe so much. Sweater weather is wear I thrive and feel the most comfortable. I love my flannels and sweaters. It is not quite cool enough for flannels and sweaters just yet, but I know that we have 1-2 weeks left until it is!

Fall Decor

I love love love fall decor. I never feel inspired in the spring and summer, but I love fall! I decorated extra early this year, because I know I will decorate early for Christmas because of our itty bitty Beedy boys! It instantly made our new house really feel like a cozy home for the same time. There is nothing better than a cozy home, the smell of pumpkin bread baking, and cuddling under a good book on a crisp fall day.

Harry Potter Marathon

Every year in October we watch all of the Harry Potter movies. It the best marathon every year and I cannot wait for it this year! I started re-reading the books because I was too excited to wait until October. It makes it feel just like fall, and is the perfect way to usher in Halloween! Plus all of the other wonderful Halloween movies. Like Halloweentown, Twitches, Hocus Pocus! I may have to quit my job just to stay home and watch movies.

It's like the Holiday Season Eve...

Fall is so wonderful because it's the eve of the holiday season. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas. The season of fall ushers in the holidays. Everyone begins decorating, picking out costumes, and writing their Christmas shopping list. Fall is pre-Christmas and I just love it.

The Babies are Almost Here

The reason I love this fall so much is that it means that my babies are almost here. The end of this pregnancy is almost here, and my baby boys will soon be in my arms. I keep thinking about how next Fall we will have two little boys to dress up in costumes and take pictures with pumpkins!
