Daily || Eight || Monday Wishes
Today as I type these words, I'm feeling a lot of things (as I always do).
Anxious.
Excited.
Impatient.
Unsure.
Motivated.
Blessed.
What are you feeling as we journey our way into a new week? Are you walking leisurely, taking time to admire the scenery and enjoy the weather? Or are you in a hurry, rushing to get to the next thing that must be seen or done?
Whichever way you are feeling, this is my wish for your week:
That you find God's sweet voice in the noise of life. That you take a moment to stop and listen to the goodness and grace He has to offer you specifically for this week. For the curves and form your days may take. I know, without a doubt, it will bring you everything you need.
I wish that your excitement leads you into good things, that it guides you into God's will, and that the fear of disappointment or failure does not taint the anticipation you experience.
I hope that as you are impatient, for the change, the next thing, in the difficult parts of life, that you bring yourself back down. That you simply pause and remember the good, the Reason. That you ask for what you lack.
I hope that you trust, fully and freely, God's wisdom. I pray He reminds you and I that He is in control. He has a plan, and His knowledge and wisdom surpasses all. His plan is good and prosperous and full of hope.
I wish that the motivation you have today carries you throughout the entire week. I wish that you use that motivation in ways that bring honor and glory to the One Who gave you life.
I pray that you remember the blessings God brings, pours, floods you with. Even in the storm, the trials, the heartache. You are richer still, because of His Grace.
Lastly, I want you to know that you are called, you are chosen, and you can be faithful because there is a Lamb who overcomes.
"They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.” Revelation 17:14
